Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) er den mest anvendte teknik til termisk analyse. DSC måler entalpiændringer i prøver på grund af ændringer i de fysiske og kemiske egenskaber som en funktion af temperatur eller tid.

 

DSC benytter en innovativ DSC-sensor med 120 termoelementer, hvilket garanterer uovertruffen følsomhed og fremragende opløsning. Måleprincipper Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) måler forskellen mellem varmestrømmen fra prøven og referencesiderne på en sensor som en funktion af temperatur eller tid.

 

 

Fysikken for differentiel scanningskalorimetri

Forskelle i varmestrømmen opstår, når en prøve absorberer eller frigiver varme på grund af termiske effekter såsom smeltning, krystallisering, kemiske reaktioner, polymorfe overgange, fordampning og mange andre processer. Specifikke varmekapaciteter og ændringer i varmekapacitet, eksempelvis under en glasovergang, kan også bestemmes ud fra differencen i varmestrømmen.

 

Temperaturområde og afkølingsindstillinger

Du kan tilpasse systemet til dine behov, afhængigt af det temperaturområde, du vil måle. IntraCooler er et forseglet system, der kun kræver elektrisk strøm. Det giver derfor en fordel på steder, hvor flydende kvælstof ikke er ønskeligt eller ikke er tilgængeligt. Afkøling med flydende kvælstof giver større fleksibilitet, fordi det giver dig mulighed for at måle over hele temperaturområdet.
