What is the difference between an IPac and an EQPac?

The IPac and EQPac differ mainly in terms of the level of detail. In the EQPac, functional tests are listed along with the corresponding acceptance criteria including pass/fail statements (comprehensive documentation). In the IPac, functional tests are less detailed and do not include pass/fail statements (standard documentation).

Why is calibration needed after balance installation?

Balance calibration is required to prove that instrument accuracy meets your process requirements before the instrument is released to routine operation. Initial calibration must be performed in the location of use after every installation.

What does a balance installation include?

Installation includes a check that all components have been delivered and that the installation location is suitable for accurate performance. It also includes overload testing, internal adjustment and leveling. Automatic doors, peripherals and connectivity are also checked. Settings are optimized based on environmental conditions.

Why do I need professional balance installation?

Even if qualification is not required, we recommend professional balance installation. Our qualified Service Technicians ensure that your instrument is set up correctly and optimized for your environment. Your users will also receive initial training to enable a fast, productive release to routine operation.
