We support and service your instruments through its entire life-cycle, from installation to preventive maintenance and calibration to equipment repair.
UniCond conductivity sensors are digital conductivity sensors with exceptionally wide measurement ranges due to their built-in measuring circuit. The on-board circuit eliminates interference and allows UniCond digital conductivity sensors to provide a reliable conductivity measurement without the need for a variety of different cell constants. UniCond sensors are well suited for water systems in power plants, semiconductor manufacturing and pharmaceutical production.
The UPW UniCond 2-electrode conductivity and resistivity sensor brings a new level of performance to UPW applications. The UPW UniCond sensor was developed collaboratively with semiconductor industry partners to provide stability, best-in-class accuracy, and environmental isolation in ultrapure water applications.
UniCond features Plug and Measure capabilities for fast, error-free installation by automatically sending all relevant information to the transmitter during setup.
UniCond sensors suffer no signal degradation caused by cable length, routing, or connection resistance and capacitance. Electrical noise problems are virtually eliminated.
UniCond digital conductivity sensors can be used to measure everything from ultrapure water to brackish water.
Identification, calibration and maintenance data is stored in the UniCond sensor, which allows for clear traceability. The sensor meets strict NIST-traceable calibration requirements.
According to USP <645>, a conductivity sensor needs to have its measurement mechanism calibrated separately from the electronics. The UniCond calibration process meets this challenging requirement.
UniCond's highly stable, robust, digital signal enables the sensor to provide measurements that quickly respond to minor changes in conductivity for better process control.

A UniCond conductivity sensor is a special type of digital conductivity sensor designed for conductivity and resistivity monitoring in water systems. UniCond sensors come in a wide range of different process connections and wetted materials. All UniCond conductivity sensors have a built-in, integrated circuit that provides a digital output.
UniCond conductivity sensors contain both the physical sensor and the measuring circuit in a single, compact unit. The main advantage with an integrated sensor and measuring circuit is that the wiring distance from the sensor’s electrodes to the measuring circuit is reduced to less than 5 cm (2 in.) and is fixed in place without using connectors or terminals. This is in contrast to traditional installations which must handle various lengths of analog signal cable, typically from 5 to 50 m from sensor to transmitter with terminations on at least one end. This integrated digital circuit also allows the UniCond sensor to be used across a wide range of conductivity concentrations, from pure water to brackish water.
All UniCond sensors are factory calibrated. Furthermore, UniCond conductivity sensors carry their own identification and calibration data. When connected to an ISM transmitter, this data is automatically uploaded and the transmitter configures itself automatically without any operator intervention. The factory calibration of the complete measurement system is unaltered at installation, so factory accuracy can always be achieved in the field.
