Both, the screw knob and sheet weights are made of stainless steel with a density of 7.9 kg/dm3 - even for mg weights no aluminum is used. Therefore all these OIML test weights are robust and durable. Thanks to the quality stainless steel material, the OIML precision weights have a good corrosion resistance and ensure long term stability. The costs for test-weight maintenance can be reduced.
All the OIML precision weights are supplied as standard in a plastic, shock-resistant box that conforms to FDA requirements. Weights are kept clean and are protected from accidental damage. And also the plastic boxes are easy to clean. Weights can be cleaned with alcohol or petrol.
The knob weights have an adjusting cavity with a threaded aperture. For weight adjustments no specialized equipment is needed and adjustment processes are easily done. This reduces the overall expenses for test-weight maintenance.
The Standard Line precision test weights cover the OIML accuracy classes M1, F2 and F1 ranging from 1 mg up to 20 kg and therefore meet the routine testing needs of a wide variety of balances. They are available single, individual weights or as weight sets. Weight sets can contain up to 28 weights.
To gain traceability, documented weight calibration results are delivered in calibration certificates with details of conventional mass correction, uncertainty and traceability according to ISO/IEC 17025.
