Are my existing predecessor XPR terminals still supported?
Yes, we will continue to provide support for your other XPR terminals (software V2.0.x). You can keep using them as normal.
Does this new terminal impact connectivity with existing LabX™ software installations or other integrations?
This XPR balance terminal can be used alongside your existing METTLER TOLEDO instruments. Connectivity with LabX, WebServices and MTSICS remains the same as with our other terminals.
For wireless printing, the terminal also supports Bluetooth connectivity when paired with the LMB842 Bluetooth Dongle, providing a reliable and convenient cable-free connection.
Compatibility note: The LMB842 Bluetooth Dongle is designed for the latest generation of terminals. For previous terminal generations, the BT820 Bluetooth USB Adapter remains the supported Bluetooth solution.
Does this terminal impact validations of existing LabX installations or other integrations?
This new terminal has new software (V3.2.x) and hardware. Therefore, it cannot be downgraded to the software version running on other XPR terminals (V2.0.x).
Depending on your own risk assessments, a revalidation may be required.
Can I upgrade my other XPR balance terminals?
If you want to upgrade older XPR balances to the new terminal, please contact your local sales representative.
