Rainin’s TS2 thermal sealer accommodates all commonly used skirted and non-skirted 96- and 384-well PCR plates, as well as skirted sample and deep well plates.

With variable temperature and time settings, the TS2 heat sealer can be quickly programmed to seal a wide array of PCR and sample plates. The plate and film are placed into a loading tray and gently pushed forward until acquired by the sealer, which then seals the plate using the preset time and temperature settings. After sealing, the tray disengages for retrieval of the sealed plate. Microprocessor control assures the application of uniform pressure and eliminates inconsistencies associated with hot spots or uneven manual pressure.
