Contact your MTMS Host upon arrival on site.
Your MTMS Host will help make sure that your visit starts off on the right foot, and your visit is a success.
Please print your Visitor Badge
Upon arrival, please make sure that you get your visitor badge at your badge printing station.
Always follow your MTMS Host
While on site, please make sure to follow your MTMS Host. They will be able to guide you to everything you need and ensure that your visit is a safe one.
Mandatory PPE
The following PPE Items are mandatory while on our shop floor and are provided to you by METTLER-TOLEDO upon your entry onto the shop floor.
Hard Hat
Safety Glasses
Safety Vest
MTMS Smoking Policy
For the safety of all at the MTMS Facility, please no smoking inside of the MTMS Facility. If needed, please ask your host about designated areas for which smoking is permitted.
No Photographs
Taking photographs is prohibited unless authorized by your MTMS Host.
MTMS Shoe Policy
No Open-Toed Shoes, Flip Flops, or Sandals Permitted on the Shop Floor.
Steel Toed Shoes Requirement
Safety shoes are mandatory for visitors walking in the work cell (Welding, Pain, Fabrication, etc). Please align with your MTMS Host ahead of your visit to make sure that you are prepared with proper shoes.
Hot Surfaces
For your safety, do not touch anything unless authorized by your MTMS Host
Welding Light Hazard
Do not look directly into the weld light as it could compromise your vision.
Danger/Caution Restricted Areas
Please remember to keep out of Restricted Areas marked with Red "Danger" or Yellow "Caution" tape.
Aisleway Requirements
Always walk within the aisleway marked with the yellow tape.
Forklift & Crane Safety
Please be aware of your surrounding when in the facility, we have heavy equipment in use at all times.
Be aware of forklift and crane activity in the facility.
Get ready to stop if you hear a horn.
Do not walk near or under any overhead suspended load.
First-Aid
While we will all operate in a safe manner, injuries may still occur. Please make sure to report any injury immediately to your MTMS Host.
Emergency Evacuation
In the event of an emergency evacuation, follow the instructions of your MTMS Host.
In case of a Fire Emergency
Fire Alarms are activated
Locate the nearest fire exit and evacuate immediately.
Fire Emergency Assembly Points are the North Parking Lot & the South Parking Lot
Severe Weather Evacuation
In case of Severe Weather
Intercom Announcement will be made.
Immediately walk towards the basement.
Severe Weather Shelter is the entire basement area.
