1. Smooth Startup of Insulin Production

An expansion project in an insulin production plant required new weighing stations to produce precise formulations in safe as well as classified hazardous areas. PBK989 bench scales and IND570xx terminals allowed for efficient project implementation and enabled the company to meet the highest industry requirements for safety, hygiene, and documentation.

2. Achieve Safety and Connectivity

A global coatings manufacturer replaced several terminals to improve accuracy and traceability of their batching process with automatic data collection capabilities. The new IND256x terminal with intrinsically safe wireless communication helped them achieve this at their plant in China and provided an easy to implement solution for safety, connectivity, and efficiency.

3. Getting the Taste Right

The leading producer of flavors and fragrances had demanding requirements for upgrading their dosing system. It had to be safe and easy to operate, enable fast and accurate dosing, as well as facilitate secure handling of process data. The engineering team thought outside the box to develop a tailor made solution to meet the customer’s needs.

4. Efficient and Accurate Dosing

A leading paint and coatings manufacturer in China replaced variable flow meters with a hazardous-area approved tank weighing system. The new system resulted in improved dosing for much better batch control.  Improved dosing accuracy and more efficient maintenance activities has resulted in significant time and cost savings.

5. Automated Weighing and Filling

When liquors and spirits are stored and aged in barrels, alcohol loss is part of the process. Monitoring those losses can be labor-intensive, but nonetheless it is required. Changing from a manual process to an automated weighing and filling system increased productivity and improved traceability.
