A cloud point apparatus is a digital instrument that enables the determination of the cloud point of substances. The cloud point represents the temperature at which a solution undergoes phase separation and turns turbid. By measuring the light transmittance as the sample is being heated, the MP80 allows reliable, unattended determination of the cloud point of surfactants, oils, and many other samples.
