M400 Process Transmitter

The M400 is a process transmitter, also known as a process controller that features advanced ISM functionality and provides real-time status information from the sensor. With tools such as the Dynamic Lifetime Indicator, Time to Maintenance and Adaptive Calibration Timer, the ISM technology on the M400 process transmitter offers true predictive maintenance, resulting in fewer unscheduled shutdowns.

The M400 is a suitable pH transmitter for all pH/ORP measuremnets, and as a multi-parameter transmitter can also provide, oxygen and conductivity measurements. Intuitive touchscreen with easy-to-use graphical user interface allows fast navigation. Rugged design ensures solid operation through soft keys with intuitive touchscreen interface to withstand an industrial plant environment. The M400 process transmitter is compatible with major asset management tools.

The 2-wire version of the M400 process transmitter with soft keys operation has approvals for use in hazardous area applications across the chemical and pharma industries. The M400-4 wire process controller has both a touchscreen and soft keys, in case one works with gloves. In harsh environments where removing and replacing gloves can cause a safety risk, the soft keys allow for easy access and help eliminate the potential for human error. ISM technology equipped on the M400 process transmitter provides high reliability and process safety.

The M400 process transmitter is compatible with standard communication protocols such as Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus, and HART. Through advanced sensor diagnostics, measurement data can be output directly to the process controller's control system. The integrated USB interface supports data logging, printer connection or up- and downloading of configurations.
