No, any traditional strain gauge load cells are compatible with MultiACM technology.

What components do I need for a MultiACM system?

In a MultiACM system, there is no need to replace existing strain-gauge load cells. You will need:

1 MultiACM home-run cable
1 MultiACM weight indicator, such as IND360 MultiACM

What weight indicators support MultiACM?

Currently only IND360 supports the MultiACM scale type.

How many load cells can I connect in a single MultiACM scale?
