Influence of the Inhibitor on Isothermal Curing

To show how an inhibitor can retard a curing reaction using a series of DSC measurements. Inhibitors, e.g. quinone or the more effective TBC (4-tert-butylcatechol), ensure that pot-life is long enough for the given processing conditions. DSC is an excellent method to demonstrate the retardation of the reaction, whether as a function of temperature or, as discussed here, concentration.
