Manual Multichannel Pipette

Performance You Can Feel

A manual multichannel pipette is a handheld life science research tool used to transfer or measure microliter volumes of solutions in multiples of 8 or 12 samples at a time. Rainin XLS+ multichannel pipettes have the lowest coefficient of variation across all channels (highest channel-to-channel consistency) due to a proprietary push-bar design. The result: increased sample throughput with exceptional accuracy and minor effort thanks to a highly maneuverable, lightweight and comfortable design.

FAQs

What Is a Manual Multichannel Pipette?

Manual multichannel pipettes are air-displacement pipettes that work similarly to single-channel pipettes. Multichannel pipettes feature multiple nozzles (usually 8 or 12) arranged in a horizontal row on which tips are mounted. Channels are spaced 9mm apart to align with the wells of a 96-well plate – the most common assay platform in life science labs – to speed up routine pipetting.
