Choosing the right crucible guarantees the best results
We offer a wide variety of crucibles that serve as sample containers for thermoanalytical measurements.
The type of crucible used for a measurement can have a significant effect on the quality of the results obtained and can also influence important characteristics of the DSC signal.
Aluminum crucibles with lids can be hermetically sealed.

High quality crucibles for the best thermal analysis results
- Large volume – increases the sensitivity
- Low mass – pushes the resolution to the limit
- Purity – eliminates interaction between the sample and the crucible
- Material – guarantees high thermal conductivity and form stability
- Flatness – ensures perfect thermal contact and no artifacts

Recommended for:
Aluminum is the standard DSC crucible material up to 640°C. For solids, liquids and powder samples and excellent DSC performance.

Detailed information:
The standard type (27311) of pan for DSC measurements – is very shallow (low in height) and has a strong flat base (this ensures that temperature gradients are as low as possible).
Light aluminum pans (51119810) give the shortest signal time constant. This pan is particularly suitable for measuring polymer films, disks and powders.
The 25 uL aluminum crucible (30085850) is optimized for enthalpy measurements which aim to achieve the best possible reproducibility.
