An Analytical Tool Used to Study Thermal Events Such As Phase Transitions and Crystallization Behavior

Thermo-optical analysis with hot-stage microscopy is an excellent technique for characterizing the thermal properties of all sorts of materials. One of the most important applications of hot stage microscopy is the characterization of samples according to their material specific properties such as melting, crystallization, and change in enthalpy on heating.

Hot Stage Systems from METTLER TOLEDO

METTLER TOLEDO's HS82 and HS84 hot stage systems allow thermally dependent properties to be measured very reliably with optimum resolution and sensitivity, so that even the weakest effects can be detected. The HS84 system delivers real DSC curves with correct heat flow units in milliwatts. Using our STARe software, you can evaluate the curves accurately and quickly.
