Before choosing a scale, it is important to fully understand the site. This requires understanding of the layout, setup, process and stakeholder expectations. A customer weighing over 400 heavy-duty trucks every day would require a different solution than a customer weighing 200 tanker trucks every other week.

2. Accuracy and Precision

When it comes to a customer's weighing process, they expect the results to be accurate and reliable. A weighbridge equipped with smart algorithms helps avoid inaccuracy and lost profits. In other industries, analog scales may suffice.

3. Reliability and Environmental Protection

Customer sites equipped with a truck or rail scale are often located in rugged, remote environments. Weighbridges typically reside outside, making it critical to source equipment that will be able to withstand the elements. With vehicle scales serving as the cash register of an operation, lost productivity and downtime often result in lost profits.
