The cooling capacity of the DSC821e depends on the cooling options, and should be considered when a constant cooling rate is desired. This article presents the cooling curves measured with various cooling options which can be used to estimate the maximum cooling rate as a function of the end temperature. The advantages and disadvantages of the different cooling options are discussed.
