Sometimes due to either product type, line layout or available space concerns, a standard checkweigher model will not be suitable for a given manufacturer's needs. When that happens, our team of experienced engineers can design a checkweigher which will meet the requirements of the manufacturer - either through the creation of a custom system, or through a partnership with an OEM to work on a joint solution.

Our checkweigher software is constantly being improved, and when customers come to us with unique requests, we are always willing to add new features to make operation more effective and easier to accomplish. As an example, we implemented color-coded buttons at a customer's request. The idea was to make it easier for operators to navigate the software to cut down on user error.

We have partnered with leading manufacturers of food, pharmaceuticals and other industries in order to deliver custom-built solutions that address their specific quality control needs. For example, we worked with Kuchenmeister, a leading German bakery in order to deliver a checkweighing solution that verifies the amount of batter in a given cake mould is correct.

Another unique system was developed in partnership with Behringer Eisele, who produce automated steel saws for use in the forging industry. These checkweighers verify the weight of large steel cuttings to verify that cuts are being made at the proper length.

Often one of the most important parameters to get an accurate weighing result is the spacing and positioning of products as they move across the weighing surface. Products with unique shapes or those prone to shifting as they move need additional consideration for their transfer to and from the checkweigher. We have numerous product handling mechanisms available which help to stabilize and properly position products as they cross the checkweigher, including starwheels and timing screws.
