Evaluation

Conclusions

The heats of fusion of the polypropylene fractions are characteristic for the blends investigated and are useful for quality control purposes. The processability of Lots A and B is different. The standard quality is Lot A. Lot B has a lower heat of fusion and yields a product whose wall thickness is thinner under identical blow-molding processing conditions. For safety reasons, Lot B was rejected and returned to the supplier.
