These programs are highly visible and extremely well-regarded within our company. Past participants represent a significant portion of our company leadership and successful sales specialists.
The Engineering ICE program was established in 1990 and quickly gained respect throughout the company. In 2007, METTLER TOLEDO founded the Marketing ICE and Finance ICE programs to build on the success of Engineering ICE. Our Fast Track to Sales (FTTS) program began in 2015. Each of these programs offers challenging, value-added rotations that will help provide a smooth transition for recent college graduates beginning their careers.

Engineering ICE is an 18-month rotational program designed to introduce recent college graduates to METTLER TOLEDO. Participants have the freedom to work in traditional manufacturing and engineering roles as well as explore interests in other fields including marketing, global service, global logistics, or another area of personal interest.
The METTLER TOLEDO Initial Career Experience (ICE) Program for Accounting and Finance is a global development program that allows recent college graduates to explore and develop in a variety of disciplines in their first 18-24 months with the company. It is a unique opportunity for accounting, finance and general business majors to gain experience in corporate finance and accounting, treasury, tax, operational finance and accounting through a series of individually tailored job rotations and an international assignment. ICE provides a seamless transition into the company and helps confirm career interests and strengths.
The Marketing ICE Program is an eighteen-month assignment that introduces recent college graduates with majors in Business, Sales or Marketing to METTLER TOLEDO. This structured program gives participants experience in several different business areas such as sales, marketing, US & global service, and customer operations, with exposure to marketing communications, finance, HR, quality and IT.
The Fast Track to Sales Program is a 12-24 month rotational experience designed to prepare an individual for a sales career with METTLER TOLEDO. Individuals rotate through various business areas and functions to gain broad exposure to the sales, product, and marketing sides of the business. Rotations will likely include time with Sales, Product, Technical Support, Telemarketing, Inside Sales, Service Sales and Marketing. Ultimately, our Fast Track to Sales graduates successfully choose Inside Sales or Field Sales positions.
There is a strong alumni network within these programs. Current participants and alumni do a variety of group activities including quarterly lunches, volunteering, and team building events, strengthening both their professional and personal relationships.
