The MS Semi-micro analytical balances from METTLER TOLEDO are part of the MS product line and consist of a range of laboratory or lab balances offering a readability of 0.1 mg - 0.01 mg (4-5 decimal places) and a capacity between 100 and 200 g.

All models from Advanced Analytical Balances line are equipped with a high-precision weighing cell from METTLER TOLEDO to guarantee constant accuracy, precise results and fast settling times over the entire weighing range. With two built-in weights, combined with FACT (Fully Automatic Time and Temperature-controlled internal adjustment), the balance carries out not only the calibration but also the adjustment and linearization automatically.

Typical applications for a semi-micro balance are sample preparation for any solution or buffer in the pharma and other industries with a high demand for accuracy. Also very common is a 5-place balances, when it comes to pipette checking and calibration.  By installing an evaporation trap, the built-in application guides you easily through your testing process.

The balance is easy to be used with an intelligent menu guidance in your language and large brilliant numbers, which allow error-free reading even from a distance. With a Bluetooth option and 2 interfaces (USB, RS232), the balance is easily connected to a PC or peripheral device like printer or barcode reader.

The clever ErgoDoor draft shield saves time and improves the ergonomics as you can simultaneously open the door with one hand, while using the other to place your sample. With the same split draft shield doors that do not project beyond the balance, and sideways mounted connectors at the back of the balance, you can save a lot of working space on your work bench.

Last but not least the MS Semi-micro models, as all MS balances from METTLER TOLEDO are equipped with a chemical resistant, very robust metal housing with smooth surfaces and round edges, which are easy to clean. Additionally, the draft shield panels can be removed, cleaned and reinserted in just a few simple steps without tools and without moving the balance thanks to QuickLock draft shield.
