The Authorized Field Representative for the Mettler Toledo Accredited Laboratory is the A2LA approved program that allows selected Mettler Toledo Distributors to perform accredited calibrations under the Mettler Toledo 1902.01 accreditation and scope. The Authorized Field representatives themselves are not accredited, however, the Authorized Field Representative’s Signatory are considered contracted Mettler Toledo employees and capable of providing an accredited calibration under the Mettler Toledo Scope of Accreditation. The customer shall receive an accredited calibration certificate from Mettler Toledo immediately upon completion of the work.
The selected Authorized Field Representatives for the Mettler Toledo Accredited Laboratory shall be part of the Mettler Toledo organizational chart and participate in proficiency testing and required training in addition to meeting all other requirements set forth by ISO17025 and A2LA. The Authorized Field Representative for the Mettler Toledo Accredited Laboratory shall be managed by the Mettler Toledo Technical Manager and will distribute the Mettler Toledo Accredited Certificate using the calibration software “Miracal”. The accredited certificate shall contain the Mettler Toledo Industrial organizational name and laboratory address in addition to meeting all the requirements of ISO17025:2017 section 7.8
All ISO17025 key functions are performed by the Mettler Toledo Technical Manager. Customer feedback and/or complaints shall be sent to Mettler Toledo 1900 Polaris Parkway, Columbus Ohio 43240-4035 c/o Scott Wittke Technical Manager.
Mettler Toledo shall be responsible for all accredited calibration activities under the Authorized Field Representative for the Mettler Toledo Accredited Laboratory Program.
