John Figgins
Senior Technical Manager

John has over 30 years’ experience in the food industry and has worked for Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd as a Product Safety Manager responsible for the prevention of food contaminants. In 2012 John joined BRCGS as the Technical Specialist for Food, responsible for the Global Standard Food Safety and later adding the Global Standard for Agents & Brokers to the role. Since 2020 John is the Senior Technical Manager at BRCGS where he is responsible for a wide range of product safety projects.


Ian Robertshaw

Ian Robertshaw is a Global Key Account Manager for METTLER TOLEDO Product Inspection, UK. Ian has specialized in metal detection technology for more than 20 years, focusing on selling to the food and pharmaceutical industries and advising retailers and customers on compliance issues. He is experienced in technical sales, sales channel management and support (globally), and more recently key account management. Prior to Mettler-Toledo Ian worked in other technical sales roles primarily focused on sales to food and pharmaceutical industries.

Adam Green is a Market Manager for METTLER TOLEDO X-ray Inspection, UK. Adam has over 10 years' experience in the food industry, working closely with end customers and distribution networks. In 2015 Adam joined the X-ray division within Mettler-Toledo, working closely with our partners and customers overseas to correctly identify and provide x-ray solutions.
