  • Level 5 – Network: Global compliance, connectivity and access for external partners is essential. Choose a network solution that integrates into your systems, provides accessibility to external users (suppliers or authorities) and ensures compliance in the regions you are active in.
  • Level 4 – Enterprise: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems are the engines that manage orders, packaging and audit trails. Choose a system that works for you now, and in the future. As your business grows, your software should grow with you, whether you add a new production line, or a completely new site for consideration.
  • Level 3 – Site Management:  Software in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) store critical data about each individual serial number and aggregation hierarchies, providing the intermediary between ERP (Level 4) and supervisory system (Level 2) information for a coordinated inventory control setup.
  • Level 2 – Supervision: Advanced software controls devices and manages serialization and aggregation logic on your production line. Choose software that integrates with your site management software and connects easily to the hardware (devices such as printers, cameras, etc).
  • Level 1 – Device Management: Software controls the cameras, printers, conveyors, printers and reject devices. Using a single supplier simplifies the integration to ensure these components work in harmony and are compatible with each other.
