Intelligent Sensor Management

The auto-recognition capabilities of Intelligent Sensor Management (ISM™) sensors permits all Thornton M800 and M300 multi-parameter ISM transmitters to begin measuring conductivity, pH, ORP and dissolved oxygen automatically using factory calibrations stored in the sensor memory.  This concept simplifies the installation of liquid process control measurement - just Plug & Measure accurately with complete confidence.

 

UniCond™ conductivity sensors with ISM contain electronics embedded in each sensor to convert the process measurement into a digital signal. UniCond extends the range of measurement to cover UPW to seawater with a single sensor, saving cost and inventory. UniCond sensors provide the highest accuracy available to enhance efficiency.




pHure Sensor™ with ISM enables stable pH and ORP measurements from a single electrode in low conductivity samples with minimal maintenance. The pre-pressurized reference electrode system requires no refilling. The single probe pHure Sensor fits into a low volume flow housing that prevents accumulation of corrosion products, further reducing maintenance.  ISM monitors the status of the electrode as it ages and enables predictive maintenance for efficiency.



High Performance Dissolved Oxygen Sensors with ISM require only quick calibration in air to begin measurement from lowest ppb levels to the high levels present in air.
