Weighing is an important production step. If you do not supply your customer with the right amount of parts, he or she might question your production quality standards. This can lead to costly returns and a loss of trust in you. Returns and recalls can be avoided with error-free weighing.

Research has shown that human error is the most common source of inaccurate weighing results. Due to more complicated equipment, higher productivity pressure and changing workforces, these errors are steadily increasing.

Therefore, instruments must be easy and safe to use. Shift changes and the worker's education level should not impact consistent, high-quality output.

User profiles

METTLER TOLEDO equipment allows you to set up user profiles for scales, differentiating between supervisor and operator. Supervisors have the full functionality, active softkeys and menu. Operators, on the other hand, have specified softkeys available to conduct the weighing operation. With user profiles, you can pinpoint operations to the respective worker and supply your customers with all the information, if needed.

ColorWeight®

The colorWeight® indicator is a backlight display that shows weighing results in a three-color mode. Operators can determine a weighing result at a glance and under any light condition. Wrong measurements due to misreadings are reduced to zero. This greatly helps to ensure the right counts and also helps to build a secure weighing operation.

Language and user prompting

The operator's language is not important when working on a production device. Every user profile on a METTLER TOLEDO scale can have its own language setting. You can easily log in or out to set the preferred language. User prompting can guide all operations performed with the scale.
