Identification of BR and NR Rubbers. Study of Thermal Transitions and Decomposition by TGA-FTIR and DSC

Introduction

The aim of the experiment was to identify the type of rubber (BR, NR or a mixture). A rubber formulation can be very complex, for example, blends and different additives. The analysis of finished products is therefore difficult and requires advanced analytical techniques.
