High-pressure crucibles up to 15 MPa
The high-pressure 40 μL crucibles can withstand an internal pressure of 15 MPa. This makes them perfect for use with highly reactive materials.
Gold-plated steel crucibles
The steel crucibles (exact material: X2 CrNiMo18143) are plated with a 5 µm gold coating. This avoids undesired reactions between sample and crucible.
Single-use crucible
Sealing the lids makes these crucibles so tight that they cannot be reopened again. This means they cannot be reused.

HP crucibles with a perfectly flat base
The flat base ensures perfect thermal contact and is therefore suitable for enthalpy determinations.
Sealing mechanism
The crucible lid is pressed onto the crucible with the aid of a toggle press at a pressure of around one ton so that the rupture disk (Gold, Au 700/531) hermetically seals the crucible.
Tool kit / toggle press
A special tool kit (Art. No. 26733) for use with a toggle press. The Maeder toggle press (KP2.1N) is recommended.
HP crucible for robotic use
This type of high-pressure crucible is suitable for robotic use.
