Measurements within Seconds
For faster processes, routine measurements can be started quickly by pressing and holding the home screen thanks to LongClick™ technology. In addition to displaying density and specific gravity results, EasyPlus™ D40 stores tables for ethanol, sugar, API, urea, and user-defined concentrations.
Automatic Temperature Control
The integrated Peltier temperature control quickly heats up or cools down the measurement cell, maintaining the sample reliably at the desired temperature.
SimpleCheck Performance Verification
SimpleCheck™ certified standards ensure reliable instrument performance. The embedded workflow guides operators through the instruments' performance verification. Faster and error-free data entry can be done with the handheld barcode reader.

How is the temperature of the sample controlled?
EasyPlus™ density meters have a built-in Peltier temperature controller that heats or cools the measuring cell to the required temperature (e.g. 20°C). Once the sample is added to the cell, it is brought to the set temperature. As the sample volume is very small (approximately 1.2 mL), it takes only a short time for it to reach the desired temperature.
How can I dry the measuring cell?
EasyPlus™ density meters have a built-in drying pump that efficiently removes any solvent or water used to clean the cell. The pump is powerful enough that often only water is required for cleaning, thereby eliminating the need for a solvent as a secondary cleaning solution. This not only saves on solvent costs but also eliminates any additional chemical waste that may result from the use of solvents.
Is the user interface available in different languages?
Yes, you can select the following languages in the EasyPlus™ density meter’s setup menu: English, Italian, Russian, Polish, French, Portuguese, Bahasa Indonesia, Korean, Chinese, German, Spanish, and Thai. The same languages are also available for the EasyDirect™ PC software.
