Pt4805 is the Redox version of DPAS, i.e. a gel-filled, low-maintenance electrode, for in-line measuremernts of oxidation reduction potential (ORP) in biotech applications in small to medium-sized bioreactors at moderate pressure.

Low-maintenance
  • Pt4805 electrode is filled with gel-reference electrolyte which is pre-pressurized to 2.5 bar (36 psi). The internal over-pressure ensures a gradual electrolyte outflow efficiently cleaning the diaphragm and preventing influx of process media into the reference electrolyte.
 
In-situ sterilizable and autoclavable
  • Designed for operation under fully aseptic conditions and to withstand repeated sterilization at 130 °C (266 °F) without any decline in measuring reliability.
 
Long operational electrode lifetime
  • The electrode is provided with a patented silver-ion trap which prevents silver sulfide precipitation at the diaphragm in sulfide-containing media and extends electrode life.
