Safety Investigations in Glass Crucibles

One should be aware of the potential dangers when chemicals are stored and used. In particular, it is important to determine any exothermic reactions. DSC safety investigations detect such reactions and determine the maximum energy of the reaction, the heat of reaction and the corresponding temperature range. These investigations have to be performed in hermetically sealed and pressure resistant crucibles to avoid loss of volatile materials.
