This article studies the influences of the additives and the oxidative decomposition on the crystallization of copolymers. The investigated materials are PP-PE copolymer with various additives, DSC is used to measure the heats of fusion and crystallization. The results show that small amounts of additives have a considerable influence on the crystallization temperature. With increasing oxidative degradation during conditioning in air, the tendency to crystallize on subsequent cooling decreases.
