UP: Curing Behavior After Storage

To show the curing of a resin mixture during storage using a series of DSC measurements. Reactive liquid resin systems cannot be stored for long periods. A series of samples that had been stored at a certain temperature for different times was prepared to determine the processing limits: the smaller the residual postcuring reaction, the more the system has cured during storage. The conversion at which the pot life is exceeded, that is, from when on the resin can no longer be used depends on the process. In general, only a low degree of curing can be tolerated during storage.
