Fundamentals of Thermal Analysis - Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC)

Part One of our Four-Part Live Webinar Series

Join our series of live webinars looking at different thermal analysis techniques and applications.

Session 1 of 4: Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC)
Tuesday 6 February 2024 - 9.30am

Used to study the behaviour of materials as a function of temperature or time, DSC is the most frequently used thermal analysis technique and is fast, very sensitive and easy to use.

It's used to quantitatively determine physical transitions and chemical reactions of a material to identify and characterise materials for glass transition, melting, crystallisation and more.

In this session we will discuss the basic principles of DSC and present some interesting applications.

The webinar also includes an opportunity for a Q&A session with the host.

There are four parts to this series, for more information and to register for the other three sessions, click the session titles below.
