In order to meet conductivity calibration system requirements, a water system owner or service provider must use precise and traceable resistors or a decade box that can simulate a resistance plus a temperature measurement. Certified and traceable calibration liquid standards are also required to complete the calibration of the conductivity sensor’s cell constant. These tools can be awkward to use and require substantial operator training if calibration is to be conducted correctly.
