Smart Robotic Filter Handling with the PFS-ONE Filter Robot

Automated Filter Weighing Solution with innovative filter holder allows identification, acclimatization, storage, transport and weighing all in one, without interruption or removal of the filter. It also acts as a Faraday Cage thereby reducing elctrostatic influences.
Up to 153 filters can be processed in one batch.

Automatic Data Processing

The integrated matrix code scanner automatically identifies the filter ID and ensures fast and easy operation, maintaining the security of your samples before and after processing.

Is ensured with METTLER TOLEDO’s world renowned weighing expertise. At the heart of the PFS-ONE filter robot, the XPR2U ultra-microbalance, with a readability of 0.1 µg, provides unmatched precision and repeatability.

Efficient Processes

All automated filter weighing results and climatic data with their corresponding time-stamps are saved in XML documents. They can be automatically exported in different file formats or uploaded directly to a database.

Environmental Climate Control

Due to its compact bench footprint, the PFS-ONE can be easily installed in existing laboratories, as well as many environmental cabinets.
In combination with our partner HORIBA Automotive Testing Systems we can offer fully integrated systems, including environmental climate control cabinet, software and filter robot.

Particulate matter (PM), also known as particle pollution, is the general term used to describe solid particles and liquid droplets found in the air. Once inhaled, these particles can affect the heart and lungs, and cause serious health problems. Particle classes PM10 and PM2.5 (i.e. particles with diameter less than 10 µm and 2.5 µm respectively) are carefully monitored, both at emissions sources and in the air in general, due to potential health risks.

Gravimetric analysis of PM collected via filtration is the most widely used technique for determining ambient concentrations of PM as well as the amount of PM in emissions. Automated Filter Weighing enables weighing 40 filters or more per day with effortless filter pre- and back-weighing while the results are immediately transferred to a PC for analysis hence Automated Filter Solutions are a logical step to increase productivity.
