What is a XPR micro-analytical balance?

XPR micro-analytical balances are highest quality precision instruments, with extremely high accuracy and very low minimum weight. XPR micro-analytical balances are capable of weighing down to USP minimum weights of 1.4 mg at 52 g capacity. XPR micro-analytical line consists of 4 balance models, with USP minimum weight between 1.4 mg and 2 mg and repeatability at 5% load between 0.0007 mg and 0.001 mg. XPR micro-analytical balances are equipped in an innovative automatic static detect function (StaticDetect™) which immediately recognizes presence of electrostatic charges on a sample or weighing container. In order to ensure the best performance of the weighing cell, XPR micro-analytical have an Active Temperature Control system (ATC™), which monitors and controls the temperature and sets optimal conditions for best weighing performance.

 

How can I reduce costs of my analysis with XPR micro-analytical?

XPR micro-analytical balances are capable of weighing down to USP minimum weights of 1.4 mg at 52 g capacity. This means, you only need to use the tiniest amounts of your expensive, rare and potent substances and therefore reduce your material cost. Furthermore, you can weigh these very small samples directly into larger containers or labware of different sizes, which simplifies the weighing process and allows you to avoid sample transfer!

 

How can I get my weighing results faster?

XPR micro-analytical balances are equipped in an innovative SmartGrid weighing pan, which significantly reduces the effects of air turbulence on the weighing cell. Stabilization time is shorter and results are faster, which is particularly beneficial when working in difficult conditions, for example in a fume cupboard.

 

How can I simplify reports generation?

Thanks to LabX Laboratory Software Solution, you can set up report templates with the information you require. Furthermore, you can print out a report automatically at the end of each process. All data is saved securely in a centralized database enabling results to be accessible and reports to be generated at any time. This is especially relevant, for example, when preparing standards and sample solutions for research projects. The user can define which set of data is most relevant for his experiment and create reports accordingly.


 


Less sample transfer

By dosing directly into a tare container, you avoid the tedious back-weighing and recalculation processes associated with sample transfer via e.g. weighing paper – and you don’t lose any of your precious samples.


Fast and stable results

The SmartGrid weighing pan significantly reduces the effects of air turbulence on the weighing cell. Stabilization time is shorter and results are faster – which is particularly beneficial when working in a fume cupboard.


Detect electrostatic charges

For very small samples, electrostatic charging can significantly influence the recorded weight value. Our patented StaticDetect technology automatically detects static charges on samples and containers and provides a warning if the measured error exceeds predefined tolerances.
