Working principle of a moisture analyzer: Moisture content is measured by weight loss on drying. In this procedure a sample is heated at a given temperature so that the contained moisture evaporates. A moisture analyzer accordingly consists of a heating and a weighing unit. After determining the start weight the sample is heated and the weight is continuously recorded until mass consistency has been reached.
