The calcium content in mineral water was determined by multiple standard addition technique using the automated system Titration Excellence (T5, T7 or T9) together with the InMotion™ AutoSampler using the direct sample preparation method.
Background
Calcium is the most abundant mineral in the body. Desirable ranges of calcium in drinking water is 20-80 mg/L. Any positive or negative deviation from this range creates physiological imbalance in the body.
The calcium in the water in appropriate proportion is very important. Accurate and precise amount of calcium in drinking water can be determined using an automated system Titation Excellence system together with the InMotion AutoSampler.
