Easy EPM - Upgrade Your Manual Titration
Manual titration has experienced a strong development: manual and – later – motor-driven piston burettes allow accurate and repeatable titrant addition. Moreover, potentiometric sensors are able to replace the colour indicators, thus achieving higher precision and accuracy of results. The graphical plot of potential versus titrant volume and mathematical evaluation of the resulting titration curve provides a more exact statement about the reaction than the colour change at the endpoint. With microprocessors the titration can be controlled and evaluated automatically. This represents an important step from manual titration towards complete automation.
Easy EPM simplifies and speeds up manual titration, standard preparation and dispensing tasks in every laboratory. The simple user interface reduces familiarization time while increasing work speed and simplicity. iTitrate Intelligence’s guided set-up assists in method programming to ensure samples are tested consistently, regardless of operator, and with minimal effort.
With a choice of aqueous and non-aqueous pH electrodes the Easy EPM is ideal for the following applications, and many more:
- Acid content of juices, wines and milk.
- Alkalinity of cleaning reagents and chemicals.
- Free fatty acid content of cooking oils.
- Alkalinity (m-value) and acidity (p-value) of water.
