Crucibles serve as containers for samples during DSC and TGA measurements. They guarantee that the sensor is not contaminated during the measurement.

HP 30 μL steel reusable crucibles.Set of 3 crucibles with screw caps and seals. Compared to the larger high pressure crucibles this lightweight and flat crucible provides better DSC signals. After measurement the crucible can be opened, cleaned and reused about 20 times.

The thread and the sealing tool designed for these crucibles with a defined torque enable the crucibles to be easily and securely sealed.

High pressure of 15 MPa possible
Thanks to this sealing mechanism and the seals, a high-pressure crucible can withstand an inner pressure of 15 MPa.
Sealing Tool for Reusable Crucibles (I)
A special sealing tool (Art. No. 51119915), consisting of a lower part to keep the hexagonal crucible base in a fixed position, and an upper part (turning head) that fits onto the crucible cover.
Sealing Tool for Reusable Crucibles (II)
The crucible is closed with the seal disk (gold-plated copper) by turning until a sliding clutch is activated, thus applying a defined torque. After the measurement, the crucible is reopened using the same tool.
