Reaction Calorimetry in the Chemical Industry - METTLER TOLEDO

Reaction Calorimetry in the Chemical Industry

Applications of Reaction Calorimetry in the Chemical Process Industry

Program Overview

  • Scale-up of chemical reactions
  • Mass and heat transfer
  • Applied reaction calorimetry
  • Hydrogenation
  • Propoxylation
  • Oxidation
  • Polymerization

Reaction calorimetry evaluates the heat discharged from a physical process or chemical reaction under process-like environments and delivers information on the kinetics of the reaction and thermochemistry.

This webinar focuses on applications and the importance of mixing and reaction calorimetry in the chemical process industry. A series of industrial case studies on the fundamentals of scale-up are presented.
